Our Story
Jade our founder developed an idea to start a cleaning business after she spent a few years cleaning properties in South East London.
She felt she gained the necessary skills and knowledge to start her own domestic cleaning company, she started to create business cards, post on social media and by handing out leaflet's to local homes and business's from there she started to establish a name for herself.
Having acquired new skills She was learning about the most efficient cleaning methods and gaining business knowledge through taking part in webinars, online classrooms and Southwark Libraries Start Up business Course. Where she develop Our Time To Shine a cleaning company with a purpose.
Jade & her mentor Dean Williams came up with a cleaning company that specialises in helping those with disabilities and young people gain employment by offering them training and an apprenticeship program.
Which brings us to today Our Time To Shine is looking to expand into commercial cleaning where we will specialise in hiring those with disabilities. Each individual will go through a traineeship with Mencap which will then follow on to a apprenticeship. After the training each individual will have the opportunity to join the team.
