With this service, you get fully customisable cleaning, which means that you decide on the frequency of cleaning sessions. Your professional domestic cleaner can visit you on a daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. You make your custom cleaning checklist with prioritized tasks, which the cleaner will strictly follow. Also, the cleaners can use either your detergents or upon request can bring their own. All you need to do is to provide some cleaning tools, such as a mop, bucket and hoover. Besides that, if you want you can get the same local cleaner every time.

Identification
Permission to work in the UK – All our domestic cleaners must be entitled to work in the UK. Our vetting manager ensures that this is so. Even after employment we regularly go back to the staff files to ensure that they are still entitled to work.
References – Our vetting manager has gone through an advance training course to ensure that the references are genuine and that the referees are giving a true and honest appraisal of the applicant.
Next of kin details – We ensure that the details of the applicant’s next of kin are taken.

We have Employers Liability insurance and Public Liability insurance (increased cover can be arranged on request) and more importantly we have Treatment Risk and Lost of Keys Risk included. Upon request, the domestic cleaners can perform extra sanitising by focusing on highly touched areas. The cleaners at Our Time To Shine will use a highly effective sanitiser, which eliminates any germs and pathogens.
If you need help with ironing, laundry, folding, plant watering or even silverware polishing, the professional cleaners will gladly do all of that for you.

Note: Our one-off and regular cleaning services do not include tasks such as looking after children, cooking, cleaning outdoor areas, etc.
It can not be used as a substitute for professional end of tenancy cleaning, after builders cleaning (post-construction & renovation) or holiday rental (airbnb) cleaning.

What does this service include?
Your cleaner will follow the list of cleaning tasks you have provided based on your priorities and the duration you have booked.
Do I need to provide the cleaning products and equipment?
Your cleaner will use the available cleaning products, materials and equipment at your home. In case you are missing the necessary detergents, please note that in your booking and the cleaner will provide those for a small fee. Please note that the equipment needs to be supplied by you (this includes your hoover, mop and bucket) as the cleaners usually travel by public transport.
Is there a contract?
There are no contracts involved. We only ask you to give us 24 hours notice if you want to terminate your regular cleaning service. If you need to skip 1 or 2 visits just let us know 24 hours before your next appointment.
Can I have the same local cleaner every time?
We strive to send the same cleaner for weekly and fortnightly services as long as you are able to keep your usual day, time and duration for the service.
